Occupational Safety & Health Policy
Diversified Services Australia recognises its moral and legal responsibility to provide and maintain a work environment in which employees, contractors, customers and visitors are not exposed to hazards. This commitment extends to ensuring that the organisation's operations do not place the local community at risk of injury, illness or property damage. Implementation of this policy will be achieved by:· Ensuring all levels of management and employees understand and accept their safety & health responsibilities and are accountable for those matters within their control, · Collectively supporting and participating in the promotion of active safety management systems which strive for continual improvement through audit and evaluation programs, · Ensuring compliance with the applicable Safety & Health Acts, Regulations, and Codes, · Provide and maintain safe workplaces, safe plant and safe systems of work · Employing and training personnel with skills suitable for the duties they undertake in a safe & productive manner, · Provide information, instruction, training and supervision to employees, contractors and customers to manage any exposure to hazards · Promptly reporting and investigating all accidents, incidents, or hazardous conditions and applying appropriate corrective actions. · Provide an effective system of Rehabilitation for injured employees. Our goal is to provide safe & healthy workplaces which will be the result of diligent application and the acceptance of shared responsibility by the Company and all its employees. Recommendations for continuous improvement are encouraged.
